Live Server Just Got A New Patch, Heroes Of The Storm Enhances Gameplay And Addresses Bugs
We are so back!
What’s this? A new patch for Heroes of the Storm!
The latest update, which was released on February 6, introduced several changes aimed at enhancing the MOBA's gameplay and addressing various bugs. For example, there’s now purple floating text to display XP given to enemies upon Hero slaying. Also, balance adjustments were made to heroes like Li Li, Medivh, and Nova — with changes ranging from healing increases to duration adjustments for certain abilities.
Numerous bug fixes address issues ranging from anchor offsets on the Hero Select display to inconsistencies in ability visuals and functionality. Map-specific fixes are applied too, including adjustments to Blackheart's Bay and Lost Cavern maps to ensure smoother gameplay experiences. Moreover, improvements are made to hero abilities and interactions, with adjustments to abilities of heroes like Abathur, Ana, and Anduin.
This patch means Blizzard is still out here refining Heroes of the Storm. The developers said they aim to maintain the integrity of the game while ensuring that players can enjoy a smoother and more satisfying gameplay experience.

Note: Activision Blizzard has been sued by California’s Civil Rights Department, alleging violations of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act and Equal Pay Act. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about the alleged violations within his company. These allegations have all been denied by Activision Blizzard and the company points to additional diversity and inclusion training as past examples of taking the accusations seriously at the time they were made. This case has been settled for $54 million.
