Riot Games is introducing a new map called "Sunset" in VALORANT's Episode 7 Act II. The map is inspired by Los Angeles and incorporates various cultural elements like food trucks, art deco architecture, neon sunsets, and local graffiti into the shooter game. Sunset is designed as a 3-lane, 2-site map, emphasizing mid control in players' strategies.
Alongside this map launch, VALORANT is also rolling out updates for its competitive system, Premier, which includes official divisions, expanded map coverage for weekly matches, and the tracking of players' career history and results. Episode 7 Act II launches on August 29.
