New indie MMO alert!
Developer Blankhans has just announced Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore, an upcoming survival MMO set to release on July 18th in Steam Early Access. The game is set in the world of Tormentosia, which has been devastated by the evil Sorgoth. Players will join forces with others from around the world to rebuild and thrive in the fractured land.
Here’s the story: After the near total destruction of Tormentosia, only six kingdoms and the refuge of Coreheim remain. These locations are vital for the maintenance of Ultracore, a new technology. You must stake your claim on the land by building and growing thriving towns with others, working together to reclaim territory from Sorgoth's forces.
In Coreborn, players can craft their own weapons and armor, form parties to build towns, and specialize in various professions and skills. The social hub of Coreheim allows you and others around you to interact, trade items, and participate in seasonal events as well as festivities. Engaging in adventures and challenges will reward players with valuable loot and resources to strengthen their towns.
The Blankhans team says they want to involve the community closely during development, implementing frequent updates and new features based on player feedback. Coreborn’s lore can be uncovered by exploring Tormentosia, discovering hidden lore sites with special enemies and resources to piece together the history of the land. You can wishlist the game on Steam now and join the official Discord server too.
