New Genshin Impact Guide Contest Kicks Off As 1.4 Launches And 1.5 Leaks Addressed
Genshin Impact Version 1.4 released today. That's the one bringing us fried chicken... among other things. In celebration of the new update, miHoYo announced a new contest earlier today. That's right. It's time to create a guide, helping other players and perhaps earning some rewards for their efforts.
To take part in this event, players will need to post a guide in the Guides & Walkthroughs area of the Genshin forums. While players can submit any kind of guide, it is advised to submit one on the new content introduced in the most recent update. Those who do will definitely be more likely to win a prize.
Speaking of prizes, there are three tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. They break down as follows:
- Gold Prize (5 winners)
Primogem *6000 + Reward worth $100 - Silver Prize (10 winners)
Primogem *2000 + Reward worth $40 - Bronze Prize (20 winners)
Primogem *1000 + Reward worth $25
To be sure they're eligible for any of these rewards, players will need to follow the rules found on the announcement post. They'll also need to submit their guides before April 25. Following that, the devs will spend time evaluating the guides before announcing the winners on May 12.
In other Genshin Impact news, miHoYo has a request. It seems that information on version 1.5 has already been leaked, and they're asking players to stay away from them since it can "cause some Travelers to have misconceptions about the content of the new version" in addition to messing with their plans for promoting the next round of content.
Recently, we discovered the dissemination of leaked version 1.5. content. Such behavior not only disrupts our plans to develop and promote the new version, but also causes some Travelers to have misconceptions about the content of the new version.
