New Class Reveal Video Shows Of The Dark Powers Of The Witch In Path Of Exile 2
The animations look amazing, the boss shown off is cool, and the Witch uses minions. I'm in.
Path of Exile 2 continues to look better and better and we're obviously very excited to get our hands on the ARPG. Being big fans of the original Path of Exile certainly makes this a given, but there's also so many things the team at Grinding Gear Games is doing with the sequel that should draw in a new audience that thought the original may have been a bit too much for them.
Today, the team as unveiled a new class coming to the follow-up title, the Witch. This makes 8 of the game's 12 planned launch classes revealed, and the video not only introduces you to the Witch, but also some examples of the "ease of play" types of improvements I mentioned above, and a really amazing Skeleton boss (at about 7:20 in the video below). The animations are so good.
I'm a huge fan of Necromancers in MMOs. Most of the time, Necros are minion based classes. The Witch fits right into this niche for me and some of the abilities that capitalize on your minions just look awesome. With multiple minion types available, the menu shown off in the video that allows you to customize the amount of each minion type you have out is very easy to understand and use. I love it.
Check it out below, and if it happens to age gate at some point, here's a direct link to the YouTube video.
Early access is still slated for later this year and you can sign up to get updates on the official site.
