New Battle Royal Travels Back To The Time Of Olympus
Whelp. Someone had to make a mythology-based battle royale. Since Hi-Rez opted to base theirs on Paladins rather than SMITE, we're going to be getting our god (or demigod) fix from Industry Games. Zeus' Battlegrounds is a free-to-play melee BR that takes players back to the time of Olympus and pits them against each other in 100-player combat.
Offering solo and team play, the game puts people in the role of demigods collecting "Godlike Gear and Legendary Weapons" in an effort to take out their foes a prove themselves as gods.
As expected, the game offers players most of the features available in the battle royale genre, including leaderboards, a ranking system, and a season format with appropriate rewards. Interestingly, players will actually be able to choose between first and third person views.
For those interested in checking out the game before it launches, Industry Games is running a series of tests over the coming weeks. You can see the schedule and sign up via the game's official site.

Currently its seen as another game caught following the battle royale theme, which is a onslaught of devs rearranging their original game mechanics into a fish bowl. :)
