New ARPG Monster Hunting Game Yeager Coming To Mobile And PC
And yes, it will be multi-platform.
In the near future, fans of the monster-hunting genre can explore an all-new world in IGG’s upcoming project, Yeager. Set on Ekor, a diverse planet filled with a myriad of creatures, the game pits players against the creatures that live there. Of course, it’s not a one-sided fight. The creatures may be vicious, but the players have plenty of tools on their side – ranging from spears and swords, to ranged weapons capable of dealing massive damage.
Not all of the creatures are enemies either. Some, known as retainers, will help players in their quests, even engaging in combat themselves. If that’s not enough company, the game also allows players to team up in groups of four and use built-in voice chat to fight monsters together. In addition, the game will launch with at least one 8-man raid, Ancient Cage. In this raid, players will take on Mae-shien, the Beast of White Apocalypse somewhere in the Kellar Network.
As noted, the game is still being refined, and a beta is on the way. The dev team answered a few questions about the upcoming beta on their Discord channel. Some of the more notable answers include the fact that the company does intend to implement controller support on PC and optimize the current system specs, as well as the fact that new weapons are already in the works.
