If you're a player of Cryptic Studios' free to play MMORPG, Neverwinter, AND you've been eagerly awaiting the ability to build and modify a guild Stronghold for some GvG PvP action, then the wait is almost over...that is of course if you're a PC player.

Neverwinter's Stronghold update will launch on August 11th with all the PvE portions of the new zone available and guilds will have the ability to start building up their Strongholds for the PvP content launch coming in September. From the team's official press release:

Reminiscent of early Dungeons & Dragons gameplay, Neverwinter: Strongholds empowers guilds to reclaim a keep and its surrounding wilderness areas from monsters. As the lands are cleared, guilds will build defenses both in and around their strongholds using structures like archer towers to fend off attackers, while building siege structures to increase their ability to wage war against enemy guilds. Once the keep has been secured, guilds will work to solidify their foothold along the ranges of the Sword Coast.

Get ready to build up your Guild Stronghold and wage war! Check out the official announcement for more info.

gave up on waiting for them to fix this "game". it is beyond fixing anymore. game is doing bad atm. will be worse after next mod launches. it does bad already in x1. only thing they will do is release it for ps4 get a few bucks from players that have no idea if it is good or shit.
skyforge launches tomorrow so hopefully it will not be as bad as neverworks is.

They really should fix existing content before adding new stuff. I think the game gets more bad press than it deserves, but there are huge problems - epic dungeons and skirmishes that can't be completed, absolutely no balance in PvP, exploits with class skills, etc. Mod 6 has brought many problems to the game that are not fixed.
