Neverwinter Teases New Heroic Encounters, The Final Battle Against The Xaryxian Empire, And More
It’s all coming in the next module.
There’s a lot for Neverwinter players to look forward to when the MMORPG’s next module launches. We’ve already told everyone about the new Enchantment ranks, but of course, that’s not everything. There are also new Heroic Encounters that will take place in Wildspace and players will finally be making their way into the Imperial Citadel to face Prince Xelith.
With all of this on the way on April 23, the Neverwinter team has provided players with a peek at what’s to come in new posts on the Neverwinter site. As far as Heroic Encounters go, there are eight new ones to look forward to. They’re part of the Light of Xarxis story and in them, players must defend Astral Seed and alchemist’s fire. There’ll also be a bit of Flumph herding. What encounter players come up against will depend on which landing site a player is at in the adventure zone.
The final battle against the Xaryxian Empire will take place in the Imperial Citadel. There, players will seek out and (hopefully) defeat Prince Xelith before he destroys Toril. The Imperial Citadel will be the game’s latest dungeon as well as the end to the Light of Xarxis storyline. As part of the dungeon, players will be engaging in ship-to-ship combat, and that’s before entering the Citadel.
As noted, the Adventures in Wildspace module drops on April 23, so players don’t have too much longer to wait.
