Neverwinter's Summer Festival And Star Trek Online Console Demon Hunting Return This Week
Events, events, and more events...and of course rewards.
Events kick off in multiple Arc Games/Cryptic Studios MMORPGs this week with one being across all platforms, and the other being limited to just console players. Both kickoff this Thursday, July 25th, and will run until August 15th.
First up we have the return of Neverwinter's Summer Festival. This event will be available on all platforms and offers new rewards and the return of rewards from last year. Rewards from years prior to that may not be available, but the team is looking at ways to make them available again if you happen to be trying to catch up.
Sahha Ball is back and you can hit the pitch in a 5v5 competition where your normal abilities are replaced with abilities like "Volley" and other ball-striking talents. If the pitch isn't where you want to be, other events include the Summer Feast Contest, the Troll Fight Contest, Collecting Flowers, or you can take part in some summer specific provisioning.
Check the full post for a list of all the new and returning rewards, including the new Hotenow Board, honoring the MMO's latest Mountain of Flame module, available in the Trade Bar store during the event.
If space is more your thing, and you happen to be playing Star Trek Online on consoles, Xbox and PlayStation players can take on the Demon Hunting event. This is the next part of the MMO's current event campaign and it includes 3 Task Force Operations (TFO): Herald Sphere, Gateway to Gre'thor, and Brotherhood of the Sword.
Some rewards in this event are dished out simply for participating. Complete 14 days of progress in the event and you'll receive 3 Featured TFO Reward boxes and 20,000 Dilithium. Remember, only your first character to complete 14 days gets this, you can't do it on multiple characters.
This is the third of the planned events in the "Event Campaign", so if you're trying to get the "Grand Prize" by participating in six events, don't miss out. This campaign is a change from previous campaigns, but the overall rewards are also changing. If you manage to participate in six events, you won't have to pick from a Tier 6 Infinity Promotional Ship of your choice, Two Free T6 Zen Store Coupons, or 1500 Lobi...you'll just get all three this time around.
