Neverwinter Is Giving You The Chance To Catch Up On Past Campaigns And Earn Double Currency This Weekend

I still think it's a bit weird that Neverwinter players didn't get a "Meet the Team" post from the MMORPG's new controllers over at DECA like Star Trek Online players received. I don't know whether to read into that too much or not yet. We'll see when the team starts communicating future update plans as they said they would in the STO post.

That said, if you're newer to the game, or you just have been lazy about catching up on farming up those boons from previous campaigns, this weekend may be a good time to go earn some of them. Starting tomorrow, March 6th, and lasting until March 13th, currency for a number of "Legacy" campaigns will be doubled. May as well grab double currency for those rewards and gather some boons from the campaigns themselves at the same time.

The following campaigns will receive the 2x Legacy Campaign Currency buff:

• Dread Ring
• Storm King’s Thunder
• Icewind Dale
• The Cloaked Ascendancy
• Jungles of Chult
• Ravenloft
• Descent Into Avernus
• Path of the Fallen

Hey, if you have to do it at some point, you may as well do it when the currency rewards are increased.

Running for the exact same time range, Elemental Strand drops will be increased via looting certain enemies in certain areas. These strands can be used to purchase gear from the Dragonslayer campaign. Here's a nifty video from the team if you need a refresher on dragon hunts.
