Neverwinter Blog Posts Detail Expeditions And The Lockbox Of The Mad Mage
When Neverwinter's next big update hits, it will include new adventures for players to go on known as the Undermountain Expeditions. These expeditions take players into the depths of the Undermountain where they will explore long lost routes and collect magic relics.
Last week, the Neverwinter team offered players a look at the artwork that's gone into creating expeditions. This week, they dropped a post providing more detailed information on how they will work and what players can expect.
Expiditions will involve activating runic crystals. But players need to be careful because they can be dangerous and have undesired effects on the group. The good news is that those brave enough to do it will be rewarded -- if they survive.
Expiditions aren't the only thing the Neverwinter devs are providing information on this week. They've also dropped a post about the Lockbox of the Mad Mage -- a special treasure trove that can be found in the Undermountain.
This lockbox will be made available in game on April 23. It contains a collection of goodies ranging from a Legendary mount to companions. There are also new insignias and more.
