NetEase Games Introduces New Game Studio T-Minus Zero Entertainment With MMO Vets At The Helm
The team wants to make immersive sci-fi multiplayer-focused third-person action games.
The more game studios, the merrier.
NetEase Games has introduced T-Minus Zero Entertainment, based in Austin, Texas. It is headed by industry veteran Rich Vogel, who previously held leadership roles at Sony Online Entertainment, Bioware Austin, and Bethesda Game Studios Austin. NetEase Games says the studio aims to create immersive multiplayer-focused third-person action games set in a sci-fi universe.
Additionally, T-Minus Zero Entertainment is actively recruiting game developers to contribute to building an original IP. Besides Vogel, the studio also includes Mark Tucker (Game Director) — who worked on Fallout 76, Jeff Dobson (Art Director) — who worked on Star Wars: The Old Republic and Anthem, and Scott Malone (VP of Operations & Production) — who worked on Doom and The Elder Scrolls Online.
"T-Minus Zero Entertainment has been built with an inspiring roster of talented veterans with unparalleled industry knowledge and the passion to create wholly original gaming experiences,” said Simon Zhu, president of global investments and partnerships at NetEase Games.
