As The 2nd Anniversary Nears, NetEase's Battle Royale Announces Free-To-Play Transition For NARAKA: BLADEPOINT
Just in time for it to launch on PlayStation 5.
If you’ve wanted to play Naraka Bladepoint, but haven’t jumped in because you either don’t want to throw down the cash or would rather play games on a PlayStation5, we’ve got some good news for you. Today, NetEase announced that they will not only be bringing the game to Sony’s platform but also taking the battle royale free-to-play.
In addition, new content will be introduced to the game, including 12v12 gang wars, a new weapon, a new hero, and more. The devs will also be adding veteran rewards for players who purchased the game before its transition in the form of in-game gold equal to what edition they purchased. There will be other rewards as well, but exactly what hasn’t been listed.
When the game launches on PlayStation 5, it will include events and awards exclusive to the platform. Players can also look forward to anniversary events and rewards. Xbox Game Pass players won’t be left out either. They’ll automatically be upgraded from the Standard Edition to a Deluxe Edition and receive all related rewards. Cross platform play is also coming with this transition.
The full conversion details available so far are available on the official site.
