Neowiz Still Plans To Bring Bless To The West
In the never-ending "Will it? Won't it?" saga with Neowiz's free-to-play MMO Bless, we're apparently back to "Will." In a statement made to MMORPG.com yesterday, Neowiz reaffirmed its commitment to bring the game to Europe and North America. First, however, they want to make sure the game offers the "best game play experience" to players.
The statement included a few paragraphs stating the reasons behind cancelling the contract with Gamigo / Aeria Games. This includes concerns the latter company expressed in September regarding in-game performance and the combat system. While Neowiz has apparently been working on both of these, they've determined that more time is needed to "achieve satisfactory condition." According to the statement, Aeria Games was unwilling to wait any longer.
The company goes on to note that the EU/NA audience is very important to them, but offer no immediate plans for the publishing of the game in those regions.
