Neowiz Patches Out Bless Exploits, Clarifies New Dungeon Level Requirements

Did you enjoy that sweet, sweet exploit from the latest Bless Online update? If so, then your time is up. Neowiz has patched out an exploit that allowed players to purchase green items from NPC vendors and dismantle them for enhancement materials by reducing the rate at which those materials drop.

If you took advantage of the exploit, Neowiz has removed the items from your inventory; if that wasn't possible, then your market access has been removed, and you'll need to follow instructions in an in-game email to get it back. Those instructions apparently require you to re-acquire the items you exploited and return them to the game somehow, judging by this additional statement:

Players must either collect the required items so we can remove them from their account, or pay an approximate gold value for the items they acquired through this exploit. Users who are unable to return the proper number of items, or pay for the items will be given the option to have their upgraded items removed from their characters in order to regain access to the market.

That sounds like a mess I wouldn't want to have to deal with, either as a programmer for the game or as a community manager having to deal with players being forced to "pay" back the game in the form of items.

Another bug allowed players to run the new dungeon, Zeeto's Laboratory an unlimited number of times, rather than the intended once daily. Also, despite calling them "level 50 dungeons," the dev team clarified that level 45 players can still run the new instances, in which case they'll be scaled up to level 50. You can read the entire hotfix update notes on the Bless Steam page.
