Nature Is Just One Of The Things Trying To Kill You In Exoborne's Upcoming PC Playtest In February
Console players will still have to wait to try the game out.
Have you been curious about Sharkmob's upcoming tactical extraction shooter Exoborne? Well PC players will finally be able to get their hands on the game in an upcoming Steam playtest. Running from February 12th until February 17th, Steam players can see exactly how the chaotic weather and customizable Exo-rigs fare in PvPvE combat.
In the new trailer below, Tar, the leader of the Reborn, calls players into the fray to fight against the "Rebirth." This isn't going to be easy. Sure, you get to customize your Exo-rig suit and loadout, but in a world where other players, other factions, and even the damn extreme weather is out to see your demise, things are bound to get rough.
“We’ve been conducting closed tests both online and in our studio for quite some time," says Brynley Gibson, Executive Producer. "But this marks our first large-scale test, and it’s an incredibly exciting milestone for us. By entering this stage of open collaboration with the community, we’re eager to gather invaluable insights and feedback that will drive us to elevate the game to new heights."
Following a changing narrative, players will be scavenging, crafting, taking part in public events, and risking all their gains as they make the decision to extract or to keep going for even more rewards.
You can sign up for the playtest on Steam now. While Exoborne is slated for a console release, there is no word on a console playtest yet.
