Naraka: Bladepoint’s Next Major Update Offers An Amazing Boss Fight And Exciting New PvE
A new hero will also be joining Naraka’s PvE roster.
Naraka: Bladepoint’s next major update is live today for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Players will be able to participate in new PvE content, further building on the success of the game's PvE mode that was just introduced last year. In addition, players will also be able to participate in the Showdown story, reaching a gripping climax in Chapter 3 as warriors face off against the Dark Maiden atop the Yushan mountains. Players looking for a challenge will be able to battle the Dark Maiden on Nightscream difficulty but be warned, such a challenge is not for the faint of heart.
Where there is a villain, there is always a shining hero. Tianhai will be joining Naraka’s PvE roster as the seventh character and, like other characters before, he will have two weapon specialties–his being Staff and Swarm–and two unique skills.
Next, the third chapter of Showdown will introduce over 15 Souljades, each one imbued with special powers and stat bonuses for a player’s heroes. Players will be able to increase their Sense level by equipping these powerful Souljades. This will be beneficial, as it is recommended to have a Sense level of 100 before attempting Showdown's Chapter 3 on normal difficulty. Players who are able to defeat the mighty Dark Maiden on Nightscream difficulty will be awarded powerful legendary Souljades.
More excitement is scheduled to come throughout 2023, and players can already start to look forward to the upcoming crossover with the NieR universe.
