Naraka: Bladepoint Kicks Off New Season And Spring Festival And Teases New Hero
Justina Gu, Winter's Grace arrives on March 9.
NetEase and 24 Entertainment's high-flying battle royale Naraka: Bladepoint has a lot going on this week, so let's get right to it. Season 3: Echelon is underway, packing with it all the usual cosmetic rewards you'd expect, as well as a new duo's mode for the Herald's Trial, so you can bring a friend with you to climb the ranks.
Epic and legendary Souljades are getting major buffs with this update, which are outlined in detail in the video below. There's also a new seasonal event underway, Spring Blooms, which lets players collect Blossom Branches by completing missions and trade them in for Valentine's Day-themed rewards.
If it's new heroes you want, one is on the horizon, as Justina Gu, Winter's Grace arrives on March 9. Judging by her animated preview video, she looks to have a score to settle with Viper Ning, whose best weapon isn't her blade, but her endless assault of "yo mama" barbs.
Finally, you can try out the game for free this weekend, from the 18th to the 22nd, which will be accompanied by a 30% off sale until the 25th. Check out the complete patch notes for Season 3 on the Naraka: Bladepoint site.
