Naraka: Bladepoint Announces World Championship Coming Early Next Year
$1.5 million prize pool up for grabs.
The best Naraka: Bladepoint players will gather early next year to compete in the battle royale's world championship event, developer 24 Entertainment announced today. The tournament will be held at a "yet unannounced location," which gives it an ominous tone, like it's going to be on the same island that Squid Game took place or something.
Wherever and whenever it's held, the Naraka: Bladepoint World Championship event will draw players from all the game's server regions -- China, Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and Asia -- who will qualify via official tournaments. Two have been announced, for North America and Southeast Asia, with the others yet to be finalized.
The player who comes out on top will take home "the lion's share" of a $1.5 million prize pool, so sharpen your blades and practice up if you want to take home the cash. But if you make it to the final event, be careful about where they put you up when the lights go out...
