Mythical Cyberpunk CCG Mythgard Kicks Off 2021 Competitive Season
The 2021 competitive season for Mythgard, the free-to-play CCG from Rhino Games, is now under way. The new season began last week with the first tournament of the year. In the first of six live-streamed Open Qualifiers, the event saw players competing against each other in a Swiss tournament. The top eight of these players will compete this coming Saturday for a chance at the $1,000 prize pool -- as well as in-game prizes.
Throughout the rest of the 2021 season, players will compete in a total of six ranked ladder seasons as well as six qualification tournaments taking place every other month. Potential competitors need to be at least Silver rank in order to participate. At the end of the full season, the sixteen top players will compete for a prize pool of $20,000 and the title of Mythgard World Champion.
To watch the tournament this Saturday, keep an eye on the Mythgard Twitch stream. Last Saturday's stream is available to watch there as well.
