MultiVersus Adds New Game Of Thrones Map And Dwayne Johnson Black Adam Character Variant For Season 2
The seasonal FestiVersus 2022 event kicks off today, too!
Today, Warner Bros. Games added a new Game of Thrones map and Dwayne Johnson Black Adam character variant as part of MultiVersus' Season 2. Both additions come alongside a seasonal FestiVersus 2022 in-game event that runs until January 18th, allowing players to earn event currency to gain holiday cosmetics.
The Game of Thrones battle zone is set in the legendary "Throne Room" from the series. It will be playable in all modes and included as part of all playlist rotations. The Throne Room will have Westeros-themed hazards players must dodge while surviving battles with opponents around the Iron Throne. The zone also plays a remixed version of the iconic Game of Thrones theme song.
After Black Adam's debut, Warner Bros. Games are adding a character variant based on Dwayne Johnson's costume from the DC film. Players can purchase the variant from the in-game store.
The FestiVersus 2022 event tasks players to enter matches and earn "Holiday Cookies" to exchange for seasonal prizes. By simply logging in and playing the game on 12 separate days between now and January 18th, players will build up Holiday Cookies and receive an MVSnowflake profile icon on the 12th day. The seasonal prizes include an Ugly Sweater Superman character variant, Gingerbread Toast profile icon, Snowman ring out, and Let It Snow sticker emote.
