Multi-boss LOTRO Raid In The Works, Will Follow Mordor Expansion
Mordor is a pretty big deal in The Lord of the Rings. So it makes sense that Standing Stone Games would make a big deal of Sauron's domain in The Lord of the Rings Online. How big? How about "multi-boss raid" big?
That nugget of info was revealed during a recent livestream with the LOTRO devs, in which a multi-boss raid was teased as being released "following the initial release of the Mordor expansion." It will take place in an area called the Abyss of Mordath, which sounds like a pleasant place full of puppy dogs and flowers.

That Mordor expansion is expected to come out sometime this year, so given the usual three- or four-month gap between an expansion and the next update, we might not see the raid until early 2018. It's not like Sauron's going anywhere.
