Mounted! Albion Online Adds Mounts, Sieges, And More In Advance Of Alpha
Albion Online is gearing up for its first big exposé, coming on the 15th when the game starts its public alpha test. In preparation, Sandbox Interactive has released a new video showing off the recently implemented features that Founders can look forward to when they try out the game next week.
The major new features include the addition of two types of mounts, fast-moving horses, and beast-of-burden oxen; the ability for guilds to form alliances to help spread their joint influence and create massive player cities; ship travel between cities -- which is not always safe; and housing and castles, including castle sieges.
A few other quality-of-life improvements are also being added, like improvements to the Destiny Board, chat-window resizing, the ability to allow other players access to your real estate, and more informative maps.
A full list of features can be found on the Albion Online forums, and you can gain access to the alpha by purchasing either the $49.95 or $99.95 Founder's Packs.
