Mortal Online 2 Sells Over 110,000 Copies And Hits Steam’s Top 10
The game debuted 4th on Steam’s charts, but has mixed reviews despite its download count.
Mortal Online 2 may still need a bit of work, but the devs seem to be on it. According to a recent announcement, the company even has new hires working with developers around the clock to fix login and other issues players are currently experiencing. That said, there seems to be plenty for Star Vault to celebrate as the company announced that the game has sold 110,000 copies and debuted in the number 4 spot on Steam. That number exceeds the company’s projections based on last year’s stress tests and is a good start on the way to the developer’s long-term goal of 300,000 monthly players.
That said, the only way to achieve that goal is for Star Vault to get those issues taken care of quickly. As mentioned above, they’ve added new hires. They’re also working with a group of networking consultants. According to a statement from the company’s CEO, they now “have a very good picture of the main issues” and how to go about solving them, provided they can get everything under control in a timely manner.
