MMORPG Vindictus' Newest Hero, Their 22nd, Is A Formidable Mysterious Witch

Nexon’s popular fantasy MMORPG Vindictus is welcoming its newest playable hero, Charon, a mystical witch who is on an ongoing quest to uncover the “Truth” upon arriving in Colhen. Charon might seem cold and callous, but her actions on the battlefield say otherwise as she is constantly in search of people to save.

Charon is accompanied by her exclusive weapon, Orbis, a floating vessel that can harness a stream of mana through the multiple runes engraved on it. Players will also be able to manipulate these spells in a multitude of ways by spending MP to overcharge the Orbis. Players can use multiple skills like Dark Matter, Crescent Nova, Singularity, and Apocalypse.

Dark Matter is a skill that discharges energy forward, allowing for a large area of attack. Crescent Nova spreads Orbis out like a bow and will propel destructive missiles toward oncoming enemies providing continuous damage. Singularity opens a terrifying black hole that will trap enemies and deal increased damage and also allows players the option to explode the black hole before it vanishes completely. To finish, Charon’s ultimate attack, Apocalypse, will condense the enemy’s space-time, allowing for her quintessential magical abilities to come through.

The newest hero’s arrival is also accompanied by her exclusive equipment like the Laniakea that improves her mobility and Charon’s “Shiny Stania” armor which is based on traditional witches’ garb and combines the arrival of her mother, Luchia, with her own whimsical flair.

Lastly, in celebration of the midnight witch's arrival, Nexon will be hosting “Charon’s Celebratory Package Event.” Players with a level 10 Charon or above will be able to receive exclusive items by participating in this special in-game event from now until February 14. Throughout this event, players can receive Charon’s Outfit Set Destiny Box, the title of “The First Charon,” an Unlimited Inner Armor Pass (30 days), and a Storage Chest Expansion Ticket.
