MMOBomb Exclusive: Learn About Bai's Dark Past In New Closers Story Trailer
Recently, En Masse teased a frosty new Closers character named Bai. Not much was known about the Cryomancer and how she obtained her abilities. Although, there was mention of her apparently killing her sister.
Today, we get to find out exactly what happened to Bai and what drove her to join UNION as a Closer. It's a sad story, but not one that will necessarily have a completely unhappy ending. We'll just have to wait and see how it works out.
As mentioned in the previous post, En Masse is slowly rolling out more information on Bai in the coming days -- before her launch on April 23. As of now, you can find her basic stats, information on her Cryomancy skillset, and... now... some journal entries offering a peek inside Bai's mind.
Starting today, players can log into Closers and register a Bai character. Of course, she still won't be playable until the 23rd, but you won't have to wade through setup before playing her the day of.
To celebrate Bai's impending arrival, En Masse is now hosting a login event. Between now and April 23, players can log in and pick up some special goodies -- whether they create a Bai character or not. Those who pre-create Bai will get another special box with all kinds of useful items.
In addition, players will accumulate Ice Crystals for logging in and playing for specific amounts of time. These crystals can then be exchanged for some special items. More information on the event -- and everything you'll be able to get -- can be found on the Closers site.
