Mixed Reviews And Tech Issues Haven't Stopped The First Descendant From Hitting 10M Players
Impressive, most impressive, but you are not a Descendant yet.
It's been 13 days since Nexon's looter-shooter The First Descendant released on PC and consoles. Since then, the game has seen more than a few technical issues leading to player compensation being dished out, a controversy over icons and weapons that look a bit too close to Destiny 2's versions, and a "Mixed" review score on Steam.
All that hasn't stopped the game from hitting the 10 million player mark, a milestone announced on the game's X account. The devs say they actually met this milestone 7 days after launch, even though the post wasn't released until 10 days after launch. (This is after banning many accounts for cheating and other offences.)
If you like games like Warframe, The Division 2, Destiny 2, and others, then the F2P title may be worth checking out if you haven't already. In fact, here's my First Look video taking you through everything the game has to offer.
