The OG "Spreadsheet Simulator MMO" Geta A Free Excel Add-In So EVE Online Players Can Analyze Their Progression
Are you surprised by this news? Well, you should be. It's the first first integration of its kind for a video game.
Spreadsheets are for gaming, not work... unless it's the OG spreadsheet simulator, EVE Online.
For those dedicated EVE Online players, CCP Games and Microsoft have launched a free Microsoft Excel add-in for the popular sci-fi MMO. This add-in allows players to access and analyze their in-game data across multiple accounts and characters seamlessly through Excel. By utilizing Excel's analysis and visualization tools, players can gain valuable insights, track their progress, and plan their strategies. The add-in is available for free in the Microsoft Store and does not require a subscription.
You’ve probably never heard of something like this before, and that’s because the collaboration is certainly a first of its kind. This add-in wasn't just developed in partnership with Microsoft's Excel team for those serious gamers, but also the casual ones. It provides various features to improve productivity and efficiency for manufacturers, miners, haulers, enforcers, explorers, PvP combatants, and corporation leaders. Additionally, all players can use it to understand their in-game actions and track their progress over time.
