Meet Earthshaper Fenroar And More In Dauntless’s 1.11.4 Patch Update

Dauntless’ newest patch brings with it deadly challenges, a new technique perk, a new island adventure, and the Dire Discovery story continues.

Players must hunt down Fenroar, the evolved version of Sporestruck Embermane. This giant beast has a set of earth-shaking new attacks that will dominate the battlefield. Then, the creature's dire version, Earthshaper Fenroar, will bring an even deadlier challenge. Once players manage to defeat these creatures they will be able to craft the Stonewood armor set and Fenroar weapons. Fenroar weapons allow players to create Terra Platforms which deal damage beneath them as they crumble.

Players who are worried about fighting the Fenroar should look into the new technique perk: Rushdown. With this new technique, interrupting a Behemoth restores stamina and grants increased movement speed. At +6, Rushdown also temporarily removes all stamina costs.

Next, after gaining feedback on the clarity and reliability of the first set of Adventure Quests, the dev team is working to make future adventures stand apart from regular quests. For now, players can enjoy the next installment of Island Adventure named "The Seed." Players will need to uncover the true reason the Farslayer Gardener has chosen Aulric’s Peak as a place to settle by diving into the tangled history of Aulric Maas.

Lastly, Kat’s fears have been realized as the story continues in Dire Discovery. The Sporestruck Embermane has evolved into the Fenroar, and Granny Strega cannot stop speaking in riddles. Perhaps somewhere in her confusing words lies the knowledge needed to move forward.
