Medieval Tactical MMO Conqueror's Blade Reveals New Viking-Themed Season For Next Month
Prepare yourself for warfare in Helheim!
Today, developer Booming Tech revealed the next season for medieval tactical action MMO Conqueror's Blade, featuring a Viking theme set for a June 9 release. The season will be a free update under the name of Helheim.
Helheim kickstarts the seasonal campaign amid the Northmen seeking to "re-establish their empire on new and distant shores," with battles steeped in the regions of the Borderlands or Ungverija. Every week players will battle within these lands as the campaign unfolds, starting with "3-Star Units across Siege, Field, and Territory Wars battles." With the most powerful generals, players will also be able to "battle in twice-weekly Territory Wars with their House, complete Stages," and face-off in Reginopolis at the end of the season.
As with every new season, unique Units are coming but there will be two this time around. At the start of the season, 4-Star Huskarls will be available, which are noble bodyguards that can inspire allies as they charge into battle. Following a bit later in the season are the brutal 5-Star Varangian Guards, "fueled by rage" and vicious skirmishers that can switch "between swords and shields or axes." These units will assist you as you battle across "reworked [versions] of fan-favorite maps" such as Broch Eastray or Heilung Fjord.
Additionally, players can pre-order a Battle Pass for the Helheim season. Those who buy it will get bonus items, exclusive cosmetics, Emotes, and other goodies. And in honor of the 3rd anniversary of Conqueror's Blade, from May 26 to June 16, players can join special events like Sea Monster Beach Party or the Reginopolis Rumble as they wait for Helheim to launch.
