MechWarrior Online Wants You To Stay Home And Is Offering You Free Stuff To Do It
As expected, more gaming companies are joining in on offering gamers something to help keep them busy while they're stuck at home for the duration of the social isolation thing. In this case, Piranha Games has a few things for MechWarrior Online players -- including 14 free days of premium time.
The company -- which currently has its own staff working remotely from home -- is granting anyone who uses the code "STAY_SAFE_2020" the 14 days of active premium time along with a Hero Mech and Mech Bay for free. The mech is the Wolverine Hero aptly named "Quarantine". It's also supposed to be one of the best Medium Hero mechs in the game -- so it probably wasn't chosen just for the name. And, it's kind of a nifty nuclear green, if you're into that sort of thing.
To get the free goodies, you'll need to log into your account on the MWOMercs site. Premium time is granted immediately and the other two items will be dropped into your account as soon as the code is applied.
