Marvel Snap Releases "Savage Land" Season, Bringing New Series 5 Card, Wild Variants, Season Pass, And More
Second Dinner is kicking off 2023 with their "most content-packed season yet!"
Second Dinner has released "Savage Land," their "most content-packed season yet," for Marvel Snap today. The season brings new Series 5 cards, wild-styled variants, a Season Pass with plenty of rewards, brand-new locations, and more.
The Savage Land Season Pass comes with new rewards for players to unlock through playing, including a new Zabu card with the continuous effect that makes 4-Cost cards cost two less. Second Dinner also added 20+ new variants to the game for Storm, Ka-Zar, She-Hulk, Enchantress, Shuri, and others.
While players hunt for those variants, they can try out the new Series 5 cards available in the Collection Level Track and Token Shop. The catch is that they will release on a weekly cadence, starting with Silver Surfer on January 4th. The others: Sauron, Shanna, Dazzler, and Shadow King, arrive in this order on their respective weeks after Silver Surfer.
Savage Land introduces brand-new locations to Marvel Snap. Players can shake up their fast-paced matches across five settings from the Marvel universe: Rickety Bridge, Altar of Death, Eternity Range, Plunder Castle, and Collapsed Mine.
As usual with locations, they have their quirks players must keep in mind. For example, Rickety Bridge can destroy multiple cards if placed at a specific spot after each turn, and Eternity Range will add a Rock to the losing player's side after three turns.
Interested players can purchase the Primal Masterpiece and Dino Sized Bundles. The former comes with a few wild-themed variants - from Sabretooth to Kraven - and other rewards, while the latter grants players a Devil Dinosaur Horley Variant and additional goodies.
Looking ahead, Second Dinner aims to share more details about the upcoming Battle Mode soon.
