Marvel Rivals Roundup: Adam Warlock Trailer, Content Creator Program, And NetEase's Gamescom Plans
The Gamescom presentation is teasing two unannounced titles.
In just a few days, on the 23rd, NetEase will kick off a brief closed beta test for their upcoming hero shooter Marvel Rivals. If you've missed any of the character reveal trailers we've posted so far, check them all out after you check out the latest one below. Let's all welcome Adam Warlock to the game and sit here and think about how many cosmics just got the opportunity to be in the game in the future.
Warlock brings healing light into the battle and, according to the video, seems to also have the ability to return allies into battle. Pretty cool when he yells "BORN AGAIN" and two allies instantly return around him. That's sure to give you the jump on your foes sometimes.
In addition to the new character reveal, NetEase is also looking to solicit your help in advertising the game. If you're a content creator that plans to cover the game anyway, you may want to consider signing up. We're sure there's some perks that go along with the gig. It isn't paid, though, of course. It's one of those "exposure" type things. Sigh.
Marvel Rivals will also have a presence at NetEase's Gamescom booth. The convention runs August 21-25. Not only with Rivals be there, but the team plans to show off more info from the recently launched Once Human, the company's other hero shooter Fragpunk, Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered, and they'll show off two as of yet unannounced titles.
