Marvel Rivals Introduces A “Hero Hot List” To Highlight The Most Used And Best Playing Heroes In The Game
That list is probably going to change with the hero adjustments included in the latest update.
If you’re a statistics person and like to analyze charts, NetEase has done something kinda cool. Rather than making players wait until the next developer letter or specially-timed infographic to see how a hero is performing in team shooter Marvel Rivals, the company has decided to share a continuously updating “Hero Hot List”.
The concept is pretty basic. It shows players the Pick Rate and Win Rate of the characters currently available in the game. Separate lists are available for PC and Console, and players can also choose whether they want to look at the data for Quickplay or Competitive. If someone really wants to get a bit granular, they can also choose to look at a specific role.
For instance, if you choose to look at the stats for Quickplay on PC and just choose all roles, you’re going to see that Jeff the Land Shark is having a pretty good time. He’s a bit short of the most wins, but he’s getting the most love. Good for him.
Of course, Jeff’s luck might change a bit in the future, as the devs have done some balancing. It’s a mix of nerfs and buffs. In Jeff’s case, it seems like he might have gotten a bit of both, depending on how the change to his ultimate ability works out. It’s gone from being a 10m sphere to a sphere with a 10m radius and a height of 5m. That said, his Joyful Splash has been increased to 150/s.
On an additional note, two new heroes joining the roster on January 10 in Season 1's launch just got new preview videos. If you’re a Fantastic Four fan, you’re in luck. Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman will join the lineup as a Duelist and a Strategist, respectively.
