Marvel Heroes 2016 Announced Civil War Tie-In Activities
Captain America: Civil War -- the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, hits theaters this Friday and Gazillion is celebrating with three weeks' worth of in-game Civil War themed activities. According to the announcement post on the Marvel Heroes forums, this will be the largest event for the game yet. The company plans on running it a few times throughout the year -- so if you do miss it you can get in on the action later -- however it won't be part of the normal event rotation just because of its size.
The event will be broken down into week-long sections with the first seeing Maria Hill and S.H.I.E.L.D tracking Crossbones in an effort to stop his path of destruction. Week two will deal with the fallout from S.H.I.E.L.D's interactions with Crossbones and the breakout of Civil War among the heroes -- forcing players to choose sides.
During the final week of the event, players can repeat content from the previous two weeks. All throughout the event players will earn bonus experience on all Civil War related characters, starting at 50% the first week. By the third week, Civil War characters will earn 150% bonus XP.
Gazillion will also be sending out giveaway codes this week to celebrate the event. There will be one code for each side of the war. Players can pick one to redeem.

If you haven't logged into ArcheAge in a while and any of your characters are under level 40 you might want to get on that -- if you don't want someone else to run off with your name, that is.
