Markus The Mouse And Mascot Friends Running World Of Tanks' 14th Anniversary Celebration
Yes, you'll be completing challenges for mascots looking like they're right out of Chuck E. Cheese.
Time to feel old once again! World of Tanks will launch their 14th anniversary celebration later this week on August 8th. The strategy game's event will run for 11 days (wait, why not 14?) and offers the usual daily login rewards you would expect. However, the celebration has quite a bit more planned for players.
Mascots Markus the Mouse, Claudia the Kitty, and Donny the Deer will be issuing special challenges that reward you with Anniversary Coins you can use in the special anniversary shop. Each mascot will add their challenges to your to-do list on different days and each has their own set of rewards including very colorful 2D styles. Daily quests will be available for additional Anniversary Coins. The team says these daily quests will be on the "easy" side of the difficulty spectrum.
While World of Tanks will certainly have bundles and discounts running in the official cash shop, the Anniversary Shop is where you'll spend all those Anniversary Coins. There's already a list of 34 items (and their prices) on the anniversary website, but you may want to peek in the shop each day you're playing as the trailer below says the rewards will change throughout the event.
I've also included the newest World of Tanks 2024 game trailer below if you're trying to convince friends to play.
