Two New Raid Locations Added As Marauders Closed Beta Comes To PC Next Week
If you’ve pre-ordered, you’re in.
A closed PC beta test for the “hardcore looter shooter” Marauders is headed to Steam. Today, Team17 and Small Impact Games announced that an exclusive closed PC beta test would take place between July 20 and 25. The test is exclusive because it’s only available to players who have already pre-ordered the game.
This test follows the closed alpha that took place earlier this year and includes changes implemented since then. This includes two new raid locations. The first, “Terraformer”, is an abandoned agricultural hub located on top of an asteroid shard. The second, “Merchant Ship”, is a breach-able frigate. The latter is designed to accommodate both close and long-range fights. Also being introduced are two new weapons: the Heavy Thompon and the Klobb Machine Pistol. A new explosive device, the ‘Scrap Bomb’ is being added as well.
Anyone interested in participating in this particular test will have to pre-order the game in order to get in. Currently, a 10% discount is being offered on all purchases and those who pre-order will automatically receive the Space Pirate cosmetic pack when the game enters Early Access on Steam and Game Preview on the PC Game Pass.
