MapleStory’s Westward Adventure Continues In The Second Go West! Summer Update
The Maple Boys adventure continues as Maple Punk.
Things are going well with Inkwell and Dr. Lim’s Maple World tour and the Maple Boys have become Maple Punk complete with new EDM music in the second half of MapleStory’s Go West! Summer update. The update introduces Maple Punk-themed goodies that can be obtained via a log-in event.
In addition to continuing the Go West! storyline, the update also adds the new Hexa Matrix Node: Sol Janus to the MMORPG. This Common Node can be accessed by all jobs that have completed the 6th Job Advancement. Players have two forms to choose from when using this mode, which also offers a 100% XP bonus based on node growth.
A new 6th Job Mastery Node has been added as well, offering upgraded attack skills and bonus effects.
Of course, a new update brings events with it. With the arrival of the Go West! update comes the Brave Pharaoh’s Treasure Event. During this event, players join the MapleStory Expedition team to explore a pyramid and find hidden treasure. The event will last five weeks with a new chapter opening weekly. A second event, The Dream Concert Event is taking place as well. This is a collaboration event between Angelic Buster and Lucid. Players will be able to partake in daily concerts to receive a buff and rewards. The more players that attend the concert, the more rewards there will be.
