MapleStory Unleashes Three Updates Over The Next Month
Almost a full year after the defeat of the Black Mage, MapleStory is moving on, with a three-part update that began earlier this week and will carry through to the holiday season.
Wednesday's "Aftermath" update tasks players with joining the Glory Guard and traveling throughout the world to see the damage the battle with the Black Mage has wrought, in the attempt to heal that damage and prevent new threats from arising. Players will earn Glory and advance through several ranks as they make their journey, earning gifts and leveling up quickly through the Tera Burning and Extreme Breakthrough events as they progress.
On Dec. 4, the Hoyoung class arrives in MapleStory, described as a "playful Thief from Cheong-woon Valley" and riding a cloud, using powerful Talisman skills to summon creatures to attack your enemies. And on Dec. 18, The Chosen One of Cernium comes on the scene, with the prince of the Holy City calling upon Maple Alliance members to protect his realm.
Learn all about this trio of updates on the MapleStory site.
