MapleStory Gets Its Own Island At The Lotte World Adventure Theme Park
The island includes a roller coaster and family attractions. And, of course, merch.

MapleStory remains one of Nexon’s most popular MMORPGs. If anyone needs proof of that, the recently announced Maple Island attraction at the Lotte World Adventure theme park in Seoul should suffice. When the Island opens in the first half of 2026, it will include a roller coaster, “attractions for family”, and the obligatory merch. I mean, what’s the point of having something in a theme park if you can’t sell plush versions of the characters?
The Island is part of 22nd-anniversary celebration of the MapleStory IP. It’s intended to give longtime fans a new way to interact with the IP while introducing new people to the game via the park. More details on the park should be made available over time. In the meantime, those interested can watch the Korean Nexon site.
