MapleStory 2's New Dungeon Helper System Pairs New Players With Veterans
MapleStory 2 got a few new additions and system tweaks in today's update. Most notably, the dev team added the new Dungeon Helper system, which pairs veteran and new players together for more difficult dungeons. The idea, of course, is to provide newbie players a bit of assistance in progressing through the game.
The update also includes a significant rebalancing of Job Rank II skills. The changes hopefully give players a reason to revisit some of the less popular skill trees. They're based on player feedback and are intended to provide players with more options.
Another important change is that a permanent 90% price reduction has been implemented for all overworld house plot purchases, rent and contract extensions, and more.
The update also kicks off some limited-time summer events, including the Pink Bean Letter Collection, which may reward players with a new Dance Emote and a Pink Bean-Themed Air Mount.
More details on the update can be found in the Patch notes.
