MapleStory 2 Officially Launches Today, Prizes Galore
That's it guys. Head Start is over and MapleStory 2 is officially live as of today. The new MMORPG is already doing pretty well with over 14 million players during Head Start, and is ready for the rest of the world.
Today, the game is available globally via the Nexon Launcher and Steam. With the official launch, Nexon is adding even more content to the game, including a cap increase from 50 to 60, a new island, more fields, dungeons, and more.
And, yes, there are special events. Starting today, and running through November 8, players will earn daily rewards including Maple Coins, Cosmetic Vouchers, and Elixirs.
Nexon's also holding a special giveaway on social giveaway. Between now and October 21, follow MapleStory 2 on Twitter or Facebook and retweet the Launch Gameplay video. Forty winners will be selected to receive a Mint Body Pillow.
Finally, there are Halloween events that will kick off on October 18. These will include special Halloween rewards such as a "Pumpky Nest" decorative item, a mount, pet, and more.
