Make RNG Your Power With The 58th Warframe In Today’s Launch Of Koumei & The Five Fates
The dice-maiden uses games of chance to wound her enemies.
After a good bit of build-up and teasing, Digital Extremes has finally released Warframe’s latest update, Koumei & the Five Fates. In addition to introducing (and sharing its name with) the MMO’s 58th Warframe, the update introduces a new mission type and several quality-of-life improvements.
The new Warframe, Koumei, is also known as ‘the dice-maiden’ as she uses games of random chance to defeat her enemies. These can result in her inflicting status effects, executing buffs, summoning charms, and more.
As for the new mission type, Shrine Defense will have players fighting off waves of enemies. At the same time, they must protect offers of good fortune and eventually defeat the new Infested mini-boss.
Koumei & the Five Fates is available for free across all available platforms, so that makes one of the new quality-of-life changes fairly useful. Cross-platform trading has received major improvements. Starting now, players will be able to trade with friends across platforms with limited restrictions, provided they have Cross Platform Play enabled. Two-factor authentication will be required.
