Magic: Legends First Closed Alpha Set For June
Get ready, everyone! After some COVID-related delays, Cryptic and Perfect World are just about ready for the first Magic: Legends closed alpha test. The test -- which will accomodate 15,000 to 20,000 players -- will be up and running in the next two weeks, according to the game's first ever State of the Game post. So, that means that sometime around June 11, some of y'all should be playing the game.
Of course, there are a few things to keep in mind. First off, you have to register in order to be invited to this round of testing. According to the post, all the players invited will be those that have signed up. Second, the invite will come with a strict NDA.
Don't worry too much if you don't get in on this first round. Based on the blog post, there will be more testing periods and -- despite the delays -- the developers still intend to launch the game later this year.
