Mabinogi's Winds Of Fate Update Unleashes Part One Next Week
Yes, the MMO is still kicking and tossing out updates.
Mabinogi has been trucking along for 20 years now, 16 here in North America. Despite its age, the MMORPG continues to see updates and it's getting another one soon. Chapter 8: Generation 26 will be a two-part package with the fist part dropping next week on July 11th. The second half of the patch will arrive on August 8th.
It appears that Uladh has a problem with Divine Beasts appearing everywhere and causing quite the commotion. To remedy the situation, Etain and Eirawen have formed a secret alliance and will be enlisting the aid of a number of mercenaries to help rid the world of these beasts.
The teaser trailer below gives you a glimpse of these mercenaries if you're curious. New rewards will be granted to players who rise to meet the occasion, but you'll have certain questions to answer along the way to determine which title you obtain at the end of Part 1. Will you seek to bring order, strive for a better life, or dream of a new world? Make your decision ahead of time.
When part 2 drops on August 8th, not only with it add more content and continue the story, but you'll also be exploring a new mysterious locale; Moonlight Island.
Mabinogi has spun up a special site for Winds of Fate that will continue to be updated with new details.
