Mabinogi Producers Letter

A new Mabinogi Producer’s letter has been posted, revealing the developers' plans for the MMORPG during the Spring and Summer months. As with most producer’s letters, there's a bit of looking back on what’s been achieved over the previous months. Unlike most producer’s letters, this one also includes an update on the producer’s IRL garden – if you’re interested in that sort of thing.

Of course, what a lot of people are going to be caring about is what’s on the horizon. The good news here is that the letter also includes a roadmap of sorts for the coming months. It doesn’t break them down by time period, but rather by content type. The three categories are upcoming events, major events, and Fantasy Life updates. That last one is made up of balance changes and system improvements.

As noted in the letter, Chapter 8: Winds of Fate has already been released. Players now need to look forward to the second installment of Chapter 8, Generation 27. This new batch of content will include a new dungeon named Bri Leith. Yes, that means a new tier of weapons is to be had.

Also on the horizon are two new hybrid talents: the Sacred Guardian and Explosive Vanguard Arcana. Each will introduce new play styles to the game. One will allow the player to be the protector of their party. The other involves explosive finishers.

Another thing in the works is the Guild Renewal. The devs are currently working to get everything ready so they can drop several changes at once. In addition, the letter promises more events than usual this summer, so everyone will be pretty busy.

Mabinogi Road Map

On an additional note, the mobile version of Mabinogi is now available in Korea. It includes everything that players expect from the original game, with enhanced community features for mobile gamers. Players can also choose whether to play the game in horizontal or vertical mode, allowing them to fit it to their own style.
