LotRO Has A New Update Today And A New Raid Tomorrow
There's a new update live today for The Lord of the Rings Online, and tomorrow brings a new raid to Standing Stone Games' free-to-play MMORPG. Update 23.2 adds some new quests in the Ironfold region for level 120 characters, and an older quest chain, The Secret of the Council, returns to Moria. Also, importantly: "NPCs in the Three-farrow Crafting Hall and Bree-town Vault no longer fall through their chairs."
As for the raid itself, The Anvil of Winterstith, players will "Venture into the lair of an ancient frost dragon to prevent Karazgar, the Weeping Warrior, from adding the massive Frost-horde to his host!" The raid opens tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Eastern with Tier 1 and Tier 2 difficulties unlocked; Tier 3 will follow in about a month's time. It will offer time-limited titles to adventurers, with Tier 2 and Tier 3 titles being available for about a month after the Tier 3 difficulty is unlocked.
