LotRO's Fate Of Gundabad Expansion Now Available For Purchase
Includes new Brawler class, level cap increase, and instances.
The Lord of the Rings Online's next expansion, Fate of Gundabad, is now available for purchase -- and, just so you know what you'll be getting, there's an extensive feature list on the store page.
That's highlighted by the new class, the Brawler, which uses its fists of fury to attack and defend, and is available to all four basic races. Nearly as significant is the long-awaited Legendary Item revamp; we covered both big features when we first heard about them being added on the test server a few weeks ago.
The new expansion also comes with a level cap increase, all the way up to 140, and players can strive toward that as they explore the new regions around Mount Gundabad. Several new instances will challenge fellowships, including a final confrontation with the Herald of Winter and Lord of Gundabad, Hrímil Frost-heart. There are also new missions for lower-level characters striving to reach that level cap.
Fate of Gundabad is scheduled for release this fall, and comes in three versions: the Standard Edition for $39.99, the Collector's Edition for $79.99, and the Ultimate Fan Bundle for $129.99. All versions come with the expansion content, the new class, and an extra character slot. The higher-priced editions come with the usual slate of boosts and cosmetics. You can compare the various editions and their enclosed loot on the expansion's purchase page.
