LOTRO Fans Get Preview Of Upcoming Zones From Update 22
We've already taken the hobbits to Isengard, so the next step for The Lord of the Rings Online is to take the players to hobbits -- or, more accurately, The Hobbit, as in the locations featured in the first Lord of the Rings book.
Update 22 will take players to Northern Mirkwood, Dale, Lake-town, and Erebor, The Lonely Mountain. LOTROPlayers has brief previews of all four regions, which are currently on the beta test servers. There's also a longer preview video which includes a close-up look at the impressively large remains of Smaug -- which, let's be honest, would probably have been picked clean and sold off as souvenirs long ago.
